I haven’t had satellite in more than a year. Even if I did I wouldn’t have been watching a network of cartoons. Paul R. from Spook Central (Facebook) was and saw a TV spot for Playmobil (US) Ghostbusters sets.
As I was preparing this blog post I also saw Playmobil has Ghostbusters videos for Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, Netherlands, and I believe Spain.

On July 15, 2016 Ghostbusters: Answer The Call (Ecto-Containment) premiered to US theaters, adding to 32 years of Ghostbusters history. If you weren’t on this etherial plain or too young between 1984-1997 and are looking for Cliffs Notes about the evolution of Ghostbusters, UK magazine Geeky Monkey has ghostheads covered.
In July 2016 I had never heard of Geeky Monkey. At the time driving just to the Barnes & Nobles locations near the old place wasn’t practical. I wouldn’t have been looking for imported UK magazines anyway.
I remember hearing about Geeky Monkey when ghostheads Troy Benjamin and Chris Stewart, hosts of the Ghostbusters Interdimensional Crossrip were talking about issue 010, “the Ghostbusters issue.”
I knew I wanted to obtain a copy when possible and archive it too for ghostheads. I never did get a physical copy. Over a year later I finally bought a digital version, screen capped the cover and just the Ghostbusters articles pages. I made a PDF file from them.

As part of Lee’s Toy Review Issue #184 from February 2008, Lee had a guide to collecting The Ghost Busters and Ghostbusters toys that included up to that time Ghostbusters 20th anniversary.
I may have a vague recollection of seeing this at Borders, as I wasn’t really collecting at the time and didn’t read Lee’s Toy Review, I didn’t buy a copy. Since then I had mostly forgotten about it.
Recently David Boozer, who runs The Ghostbusters Vault scanned his copy for ghostheads. I’ve lightly cleaned them and made a PDF copy. The just Ghostbusters content with covers is 11 pages and comes in at 152 MB.

Playmobil (US) latest way to promote their line of Ghostbusters play sets has arrived. Unless you were in the know, (I wasn’t) Playmobil created a brand new Ghostbusters comic book set in the Playmobil Ghostbusters “universe.” Even though it’s meant more for kids, it isn’t a couple of wavy lines. Playmobil art comes in at 14 colorful pages!
Besides having a new Ghostbusters comic, the best part its 100% free! You or the young ghostheads can download Playmobil’s Ghostbusters comic PDF here.
Alternatively as we thought ahead to a time when the comic might not be at there site, it’s also been uploaded to The Magazine Rack. Hope that’s cool plastic Playmobil lawyers.
